Gemini Cavies is owned and operated by myself, Andrea Swimm. Other members of the team include my sons Brandon and Nathan and daughter Rebekah (the "big helpers"), our dogs Gizmo and Honey (the guards), and our three cats Rocky, Sagwa and Shadow, who always keep the piggies on their toes :) I have had cavies as pets from a very young age, but over the last few years I was introduced to the world of purebred cavy breeding and showing. I was hooked instantly! I became a member of the OCC in 1999 and was fortunate to meet some very nice breeders who were extremely informative. I was able to purchase my foundation stock from some very well-known breeders (special thanks to Amanda Habok, Mary Lou Eisel, Heather Baskey, Karen Douma, and Shannon Augustine). Since I am new to breeding and showing, I do not have a large operation, but I hope to slowly prove myself and develop a good reputation, as well as make many new friends in the fancy.
